Firefighter Rudolph M. Lutz - October
14, 1956:
Died in the line of duty after suffering a heart attack at the scene of a leaf fire that
spread to a telephone pole on Harlem Road near Kings Highway.

Firefighter Lutz drove the pumper to the scene and had just completed hooking up to the
fire hydrant and reported he was ready for water when he collapsed.

Second Assistant Chief John P. Bresnahan - June 3, 1966:
Died in the line of duty after suffering a heart attack at the scene of a barn fire at the
Park School of Buffalo, 4625 Harlem Road.
