Imagine a fire or medical emergency and no one responds to your call?
Fortunately, VOLUNTEER members of the Snyder Fire Department stand ready to serve you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and in order to continue serving the residents of the Snyder Fire District, new members are constantly needed. The membership of the Snyder Fire Department is comprised of individuals, living within the Fire District, who care about your community, your home and your family.

What qualifications are necessary to join the Snyder Fire Department?

•	Must be a legal US resident residing within the Snyder Fire District boundaries.
•	Must be 18 years old to join as a firefighter
•	16-18 year old individuals can enter our Torch-boy program.
